Overview
Explore the stunning Whitsundays with us on our luxury cruiser. Throughout the day you will get to enjoy three magical destinations in one day - Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout and one of the fantastic fringing reefs off Hook or Border Islands for snorkelling and/or diving.
Our first visit is one of the world's most pristine beaches - Whitehaven Beach. This is 6km of pure white silica sand where you can play, walk, swim or just chill out before a short stroll to enjoy the magnificent vista provided by Hill Inlet Lookout. This lookout is located in the Whitsunday Island National Park and promises stunning views of the surrounding Islands and crystal clear water. We will usually spend around 3 hours here to ensure you get to enjoy plenty of time in this magical location.
Depending on the conditions of the day we will visit fantastic fringing reefs off either Hook or Border Islands for snorkelling and/or diving. You'll be amazed by the underwater world of colourful coral and local marine life. After approximately 2 hours (enough time for 2 dives), we then turn back across the Whitsunday Passage to Airlie Beach. We offer both introductory and certified dives with experienced instructors (additional cost).
During the months July to September humpback whales can be found in the waters surrounding the Whitsunday Islands. Whale migration can be experienced almost daily in the Marine Park Area. We have a whale watching permit that allows us to let you spend extra time viewing these majestic creatures in their natural environment.
During the day we will serve up a sumptuous fresh buffet lunch featuring delicious cold meats, fresh salads, local fruits and desserts.
Our cruiser is a fast, modern jet with two air-conditioned lounges and a large back deck that has been specifically designed for diving and snorkelling. We also have a fully licensed bar on board for you to enjoy throughout the day.
Location
Airlie Beach (The Whitsundays - Queensland)
This experience departs from Airlie Beach and travels to various locations throughout the Whitsundays. We return to Airlie Beach at the conclusion of the day.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
Introductory dives are conducted with no more than 4 in a group. Certified dives are guided by an instructor free of charge.
Session Time
This trip departs at 8.30am every day and returns at approximately 5pm. If you require collection from you accommodation in Airlie Beach, we generally collect customers from 7:30am.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Please bring swim wear and a towel. The price quoted includes all snorkelling and diving gear as well as necessary instruction. Our vessel is accessible by wheelchair friendly with access to male and female amenities.
The price includes all national park fees. For those wishing to take part in either of the dives this is an additional cost to be paid on the day.
Extra Info
1 x certified dive is $45.00 and 1 x introductory dive is $65.00 (this additional cost is to be paid on the day of travel).
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
