Overview
Enjoy the thrill of learning to fly fish for trout with your own private guide! Woodman Estate's spring fed lake is the perfect location. Your fly fishing instructor brings all the gear and will teach you both the techniques required to cast and reel in your own trout.
After your catch, our chef will prepare it to your liking and cook it up for lunch or dinner. Your 2 course dining (either entree and main or main and dessert) includes a complimentary glass of Woodman Estate sparkling to celebrate the day followed by tea & coffee. Retire to your Garden Room for the evening before waking to a gourmet breakfast and a late check out at noon.
Your fly fishing lesson is for 1.5 hours including fishing time. Arriving at the Estate at 11.30am for your lesson, followed by lunch at the Estate, you will also enjoy the other complimentary on-site activities including tennis, indoor spa pool, billiards, rowing on the lake and the lake walk.
Your overall experience at Woodman Estate is 24 hours including fishing, dining, overnight accommodation, gourmet breakfast and a late checkout at midday.

Woodman Estate is located 1 hours drive from Melbourne on the magnificent Mornington Peninsula, close to the township of Mornington.

Your instructor will provide tuition for your group of two.
Session Time
Your fly fishing lesson is for 1.5 hours including fishing time. Arriving at the Estate at 11.30am for your lesson, followed by lunch at the Estate, you will also enjoy the other complimentary on-site activities including tennis, indoor spa pool, billiards, rowing on the lake and the lake walk.
Guidelines & Restrictions
It is advisable for the particpant/guest to be able to swim if they venture out in the boat on the lake.
All participants/guests must wear a life jacket when on the lake.

Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
