Overview
This 3 day adventure begins when we all meet the night before our departure at our accommodation in Hervey Bay (accommodation included).
The itinerary for the next 3 days is as follows:
Day 1: We wake up bright and early to organise supplies. Our professional staff will give you a 4WD safety briefing before you head off to catch the Fraser Venture Barge. When you arrive at on Fraser Island it's time for your first taste of off-road of driving on the sand island tracks. Spend the rest of the day exploring sites such as Central Station, Basin Lake and its many turtles, 75 Mile Beach, Eli Creek and Indian Head. We then set up camp at K'Gari Campsite where you can eat, drink and be merry under a billion stars.
Day 2: An early rise today will allow you to venture up to Indian Head to enjoy the sunrise, then it's time for a cup of tea and breakfast. Afterwards we head to Champagne Pools for a morning dip before heading south to explore more of Fraser Island's sites. These include The Pinnacles, Maheno Wreck, Rainbow Gorge and Lake Wabby. At the end of the day we return to K'Gari Campsite.
Day 3: We have breakfast before venturing inland for a rainforest walk through Pile Valley. Then it's back into the 4WD for an adventure up to the white sand and azure water of Lake McKenzie. We then jump back into the 4WD and head along the inland tracks which will take you back to the barge. Once back on the mainland we return to the plush comfort of the hostel (overnight accommodation included) for a hot shower and a sand-free dinner.
K'Gari campsite is an aboriginal site, sheltered within Fraser Island's beautiful coastal bushland. To make your stay comfortable K'Gari campsite offers you fully functional facilities including: hot showers, flushing toilets, covered cooking areas, camp fires and there is no curfew so you can party as much as you want.

Numbers
When you arrive at the hostel you will be put into groups of 9 - 11 people. Our new Toyota Landcruisers can carry up to 11 passengers.
Session Time
You will spend 3 days and 2 nights on Fraser Island. The night before we depart and the night we return from Fraser Island overnight accommodation will be at a local hostel in Hervey Bay (both nights included in the price).
Guidelines & Restrictions
All participants must be 18 years or older to join this tour. However any passenger who wishes to drive must be over 21 and must be able to drive using manual gear shift. Drivers must pay a $100 bond.
Please note car insurance is included in the price, however there is a $1000 excess payable if there is damage to the vehicle. Drivers must pay a $100 bond and must be over 21 years of age
$60 is payable on the day to cover ferry to Fraser Island and National Park fees.
Extra Info
The price includes food, fuel, car insurance, camping equipment, accommodation both at the Hervey Bay Hostel and at the campsite on Fraser Island. $60 is payable on the day to cover ferry to Fraser Island and National Park fees. Safari tours are subject to weather, tidal and other unforeseen circumstances.
