Overview
Travel the East Tamar highway to Mount George lookout for spectacular views of historic Georgetown where Australia's third European Settlement began in 1804, the Tamar Valley and Bass Strait. Then it is on to Low Head at sunset for the highlight of the tour, the penguin parade. During the first hour of darkness, you will see penguins up close and personal in their natural environment. Professional guides will ensure you have an amazing and informative experience with these delightful little creatures. Learn about their daily routine during a one hour walking tour of the rookery. Sturdy footwear and warm clothing is recommended. Photography (no flash) and video (no light) is allowed.
