Overview
An afternoon of fun and excitement on board a fleet of luxury yachts for the popular Saturday Social race. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to the test and be part of a crew as we race around the natural landmarks in the harbour.
The afternoon starts with everyone being divided into teams and introduced to their crews. Once on board, we proceed to the starting area, usually Farm Cove next to the Opera House. Sails are hoisted and participants are given instruction on the crewing duties.
All on board are encouraged to have a go trimming the sails and steering the yacht (subject to weather conditions). Alternatively, relax and enjoy the experience. During the race the yachts will be passing many famous landmarks, historic building, islands and beaches.

We are located at Darling Harbour.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
You can come on your own or put together your own team. After the racing you can also stick around for a refreshing ice cold beverage at the Docks Hotel in Darling Harbour (food & drink not supplied).
Session Time
Assembly at our base from 12.30pm. Upon registering you will be allocated to the yacht for the afternoon. After the general briefing at 1.00pm participants will board the yachts and receive a short safety briefing from the skipper. De-boarding back at the base at approximately 4.00pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
No previous sailing experience is required.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
