Overview
This beginners lesson has been designed specifically to allow those with no previous experience get out on the water and see how rewarding the sport of fishing can be.
Fly fishing is a sport that requires the angler to be able to cast the fly line with a reasonable degree of accuracy and gracefulness. Learn the art of casting the line to ensure the "fly" lands on the water in a way which will not scare the fish. In this lesson you'll also learn that this is only a small part of successful fly fishing.
Let the expert local fishing guide, Steve Williamson, demonstrate the necessary basic skills including smooth casting techniques as well as the correct equipment to use, how to correctly tie appropriate knots and most importantly, teach you how to use the right "fly."
All guides are members of the "Professional Fishing Instructors and Guides Association" and will be more than happy to pass on their extensive fly fishing knowledge.
By the end of the 2 hour course you will walk away with the correct fly line casting technique. We recommend that once you have completed this course you hire or purchase the necessary equipment and continue practicing the techniques that you have learnt.
This is an essential course for the fisherman who plans to venture to the river or lake for the first time.

Jindabyne (Snowy Mountains / Jindabyne - New South Wales)
This lesson takes place in Jindabyne. This is located 2.5 hours from Canberra.

Numbers
The price is quoted for one person, however if you wish to take others with you, they can join for an extra $40 per person. Please organise this directly with supplier after you have made a booking. Please contact 1300 46 36 48 for further information.
