Overview
Taking place in the stunning Snowy Mountains, this day of fishing will provide you with a great insight into this relaxing yet rewarding sport.
Your guide for the day is Steve Williamson who is regarded as Jindabyne's number one fishing guide & is one of Australia's top fishing experts. Steve advises that there are various methods used to catch trout within the Snowy Mountains region. You can use lures to spin the lakes and rivers, you can fly fish the streams or rivers and you can bait fish the lakes, however one of the best options is to fish the lake via our Polycraft.
Our boat is a very stable 4.1 metre 'Polycraft' fully 'NSW Waterways' surveyed and allows for your comfort and safety in all weather conditions. The Polycraft provides unrestricted access to the lakes, allowing those on board to move close to the lakes banks.
From the Polycraft platform, you can either fly cast or spin, both of which are a rewarding way to catch trout or salmon (both known to inhabit the area). To enhance the experience, Steve uses top of the range Lowrance sonar equipment to ensure you get that magic catch!

Numbers
The boat is surveyed for 3 people however to ensure you get the best possible experience, we keep our numbers to groups of 2.

This is a 4 hour fishing experience.
Guidelines & Restrictions
For safety reasons, children must be 12 year old and over in order to participate in this day. This package includes full tuition on various fishing methods, fishing license, fishing equipment (rods, reels & tackle) and light refreshments.
