Overview
Stand-up paddle boarding is huge around the world for very simple reasons... low impact and attainable for everyone. You have a great time even in the learning process, because your friendly coaches know what's easy, what's hard, and how to maximise your learning opportunity.
It won't be long before you are up on the board by yourself. You'll learn so much just in your first lesson, including:
* Familiarity with the equipment
* Correct posture and position for paddling
* A core fitness workout, so you will always be at your best when going out for to paddle board
* Our paddling environment, and how that might differ from other environments
* Advanced strokes for catching waves and turning
* All safety aspects, including safe entry and exiting of the water and how to carry the equipment.

Location
St Kilda (Melbourne - Victoria)
This experience is run from St Kilda Beach.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
There will be a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 participants.
Session Time
2 hour group lesson, 30 min instruction and 90 min practice.
Guidelines & Restrictions
No assumed knowledge! You just need to be able to swim.
We are open 7 days a week, 7am to 9pm, November through to April.
Extra Info
Light wind is ideal. For your own safety, we don't operate in winds greater than 15 knots. We will let you know ASAP if the winds don't look good, and if the class can't go ahead, we can reschedule you for a later date at no cost to you.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
