Sail aboard our Seawind Catamaran as we visit the Mornington Peninsula and each of it's famous sites.
Upon leaving Blairgowrie Marina we sail westerly past Collins Settlement where the first settlers landed. See the newly rebuilt Sorrento Sailing Club that is the HQ of Victoria's famous Couta Boat fleet.
Also along the way we'll also see the Baths Restaurant where the Seaplane brings luncheon guests from Williamstown, the township of Sorrento and it's Pier and Ferry Terminal.
At Point King, look out for the local dolphins as well as the Portsea cliff-top mansions including that of a well-known trucking magnate and sometimes his helicopter.
See the Portsea Camp, the famous Portsea Hotel, the new 12 acre Mornington Peninsula Shire Park at Police Point and The Quarantine Station at Point Nepean which later housed the Army and then the Kosovo refugees, soon to be a conference centre and Maritime College campus,
Then we turn east and sail down the South Channel where we have a safe, close encounter with one of the large ships on her way to or from Melbourne. Keep an eye out for the seal colony on an old channel marker, with gannets nesting on the top deck. Other sites include The South Channel Fort, man-made in the 1880's to defend us from a Russian invasion, the mid-Bay lighthouse where a family of 6 once lived to tend the light.
After all of this adventure we then turn for home and back to dry land.
Our catamaran has a fully equipped galley and two toilets. Perfect for corporate team building events!

"This was a gift for my husbands birthday and Kerry, the owner took the time to talk with my husband and show him everything about the boat. He went above and beyond letting Kerby (my husband) get a real feel for the experience. Kerby really enjoyed the day and relaxed, which was the ultimate goal. Thanks so much. The only thing that could have added to the experience was for it to have been just a little warmer, but even that was just a little problem that couldn't be helped this time of year!" Kelly, Jun 2007
