Overview

Skywalk will literally send you over the edge! Suspended over Sydney Tower's edge you will experience sensational 360 degree views of Sydney at heights of 260 metres above street level! You'll be amazed by Sydney's best views!

Your ticket will also include OzTrek, an amazing virtual adventure across Australia with 3D holograms, 180-degree cinema screens, surround sound and heart-stopping real-motion seating!

Your visit will start with a safety briefing before you are fitted with protective Skysuits and prepared to venture out. Harnessed to safety rails by sliding cables, you will be escorted along two purpose-built steel walkways and platforms by Skyguides pointing out the city's geographical, historical and cultural landmarks.

A few facts to get the heart thumping:

* Sydney Tower is the 25th tallest freestanding structure in the world and the 2nd tallest in the Southern Hemisphere,

* It boasts the highest public observation deck south of the equator, sitting 250m - above land,

* Sydney Tower is more than 4 times as high as the Opera House (67m) and more than double the height of the Harbour Bridge (134 metres),

* Sydney Tower is the 1st place in Sydney to greet the dawn each day and the last place to see the sunset,

* Sydney Tower is the same height as the Eiffel Tower,

* Visitors to the observation deck can see 55km out to sea (weather dependant) compared to someone at Bondi Beach who can see just 5km to the horizon. This means a Tower observer can see a ship approaching Sydney two hours before the person at the beach.

* Sydney Tower still sets the maximum height limit for Sydney buildings today; 279m.

Numbers

This experience is for one person. However you will be in a group of approximately 15 people plus your guide on the day.

Session Time

Each Skywalk lasts approximately 40 minutes and the OzTrek experience lasts for 30 minutes. We operate daily (except Christmas Day) from 9.30am - 8.45pm. Daily departures every 30 minutes, subject to seasonal variations.

Guidelines & Restrictions

This experience is suitable for almost anyone! You must be older than 10 years to participate. Wheelchair access is available (please notify us at the time of booking). No loose items will be allowed on the Skywalk. You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Please wear flat shoes.

Lockers are provided to keep your valuables secure during the walk. You must complete a medical declaration prior to the walk and you must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol prior to your experience. Cameras are not permitted on the Skywalk. Photos are available to purchase.

Child rates apply to those aged 10 - 15 years old.
