Dolphin & Seal Swims

Great Ocean Road

Overview

How many places throughout the world can you swim with wild dolphins AND seals? Our dolphin and seal swim tours offers you a total marine experience while exploring the pristine waters of southern Port Phillip Bay.

Before heading out on your dolphin adventure our friendly crew will fit you out with a modern dive wetsuit and snorkelling equipment, brief you on safety procedures and show you the way around the boat.

Your first snorkelling site is Popes Eye, part of the Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park where our patient instructors can give you some basic snorkelling lessons in the shallow protection of its unique lagoon. You will quickly gain you're skills here while watching the remarkable varieties of fish and marine creatures.

The next exciting place you'll visit is the Chinaman's Hat seal colony where your snorkelling skills are reviewed by the graceful fur seals that swim all around you.

Just when you think it couldn't get any better, a pod of dolphins is spotted and its not long before you find yourself in the water again and while holding the mermaid line the pod of dolphins swims in and around your small group smiling as they glide closely by.

Back on the boat with a cup of hot chocolate and sitting in the warm sun you cruise by the shoreline with historic buildings and deserted beaches. You may even have the opportunity to throw in a fishing line a trawl for some salmon.

There's lots of fun on the boat, the crew are very professional but relaxed, and you get to meet people from all over the world. Don't forget your cameras because the photo opportunities on the cruise are fantastic!
