Overview
Your stable estuary kayak is easy to paddle and fun to get around in. After some brief safety instructions you will be able to explore the lake at your leisure.
If you are a nature lover and want to be surrounded by lots of bird life then take a paddle east into the Jerrabombera wetlands and the Molonglo river .
If you like the view of iconic buildings and want to feel the spray of the Captain Cook memorial jet then head into the central and west basins.
On the day you will be provided with a map and given directions to the areas with the best vantage point.
This is a great trip for a group of friends wanting to see Australia's capital from a different perspective.

Numbers
You can paddle by yourself or you can bring as many friends as you like. An instructor will give you safety instructions but will not accompany you on your paddle.
Session Time
The session takes up to 3 hours with a safety briefing.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Not suitable for non swimmers or young children under the age of 12. Children however can be catered for if they are accompanied by an adult and paddle a double kayak. We suggest you wear casual comfortable clothes that you don't mind if they get slightly wet.
You will need to sign an acknowledgment of risk form prior to participating in the tour. It is requested that you wear the provided personal floatation device (PFD) at all times while on the water.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
