Overview
Experience a fantastic 3 hour camel ride across stony plateaus and past stands of grass trees that are hundreds of years old.
With our expert guides leading the way, you will ride a gradual descent into the Pichi Richi valley, flanked on one side by the magnificent Dutchman escarpment and on the other by the ridge you have just ridden down.
Along the way you'll follow an ancient creek bed dotted with River Red Gums. Marvel at the endurance of early European settlers as you pass by their cottages and a corrugated iron woolshed that is still in use today.
We then turn to climb back out of the valley through native mallee bush land. Wildlife abounds, undisturbed by the quiet padding of your camel.
Throughout this camel ride, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.

Guidelines & Restrictions
We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, including long pants and closed in shoes. Remember to bring camera, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, small water bottle (up to 1L) and insect repellent. We provide all guidance and commentary as well as helmets to wear on the ride.
No riding experience is necessary, you will be joined by one of our fantastic guides, so you don't need to worry about anything except enjoying your tour. Please let us know if you have any food allergies prior to the day.
