Overview
This is an introduction to our Stunt Driving Experience with plenty of spins and slides and where you can experience stunt driving just like in the movies. Push yourself to the limit and feel the exhilaration and adrenalin of driving under the expert guidance of leading movie industry stunt professionals.
If you've ever seen a great car chase in a movie where the car slides a corner, does a 180 spin then slides sideways into a car park and you've always wanted to try it for yourself then this is for you. This is not precision driving this is stunt driving at its best.
As the only programme of its kind to have film industry stunt drivers you will get to learn from some of the best stunt drivers Australia has to offer. All of our instructors currently work in the film industry and have been involved in movies such as Mad Max, Mission Impossible 2, Matrix, Ghost Rider and Superman Returns just to name a few.
The experience begins with a meet, greet, sign in and a short safety briefing, where we also cover the tricks and techniques for spinning and sliding a car and how stunt driving is performed in the movies. Then, it's out on the skidpan where our competent stunt driving instructors will be with you in the car to offer encouragement and handy tips. Stunt driving exercises include:
* Sliding in a straight line then sideways from both directions
* Sliding corners (left and right)
* 90 and 180 degree turns
* Stunt parking from all directions
* Barrel turns both ways
* Reverse 180 degree spins (J turns)
To top the day off you'll get the opportunity to perform an extreme 360 degree spin with one of our instructors by your side. This is the most fun you can have in a car and spectators are welcome. Discover your inner stunt driver today!
Location
Willow Bank (Brisbane - Queensland)
WILLOWBANK Raceway: Champions Way, Willowbank. Willowbank Raceway is approximately 50 kms west of Brisbane, on the outskirts of Ipswich and close to the Amberley air force base. To get there take the Ipswich Motorway heading towards Warwick. Then take the Cunningham Highway and continue towards Warwick for approximately 22km. Turn right into Champions Way signed as Ipswich Motorsport Precinct, then first left into Willowbank raceway and follow the black white SDX signs to our skidpan.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
There will be a maximum of 3 stunt drivers to a car plus one instructor (to offer encouragement and handy tips). There may be up to 12 participants in the session.
Session Time
Our introduction to spins and slides is offered as a morning session. There will be a 5 minute safety briefing on site prior to driving, then approximately 1.5 hours on the skidpan. You will spend approximately 20-30 minutes in the drivers seat performing the tricks.
Guidelines & Restrictions
You must hold either a current drivers license or learners permit to participate. No manual transmission driving experience is required. You should be physically fit enough to be shaken about roughly in a car.
All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability form. If you are under 18 years of age a parent/guardian must sign the waiver of liability on your behalf and be present on the day. Spectators welcome!!

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
