Overview
There is nothing quite like sailing to Whitehaven Beach, situated on the eastern side of Whitsunday Island. Covering its 5 kilometre length is soft pure white silica sand, making it unique and one of the worlds most famous beaches. Swim in the warm crystal clear water at Whitehaven Beach or walk up to the new southern lookout for spectacular views over Whitehaven Beach and the Whitsunday Islands.
Lunch is a picnic served under the shady trees backing the beach. Fresh tortilla wraps (satay chicken or vegetarian salad), and rare roast beef salad rolls, accompanied by fresh tropical fruit. Refreshments available for purchase from our Licensed bar. Beach cricket, volleyball, frisbee and other activities are also available for those that feel the need to expend some energy whilst on the beach.
The return sail past some very interesting and dramatic scenery tops off a day trip that is a must for every visitor to the Whitsundays!

Airlie Beach (The Whitsundays - Queensland)
This adventure departs from Shute Harbour. We are able to provide a courtesy pick-up service from most Airlie Beach Mainland accommodation.

Numbers
Minimum 10 Pax to run. Up to 55 Pax maximum.
Session Time
Boarding at Shute harbour at 8:30am for Departure at 8:45am. Returns at approximately 4:15pm We offer ourtesy bus pick up starting at 7:55am through to 8:25am. Please advise your accommodation when booking so we can then advise you of the pick up time and location.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Please bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, swimwear, soft shoes and jumpers for cooler days.
Special dietary requirements are catered for on request. Please advise when booking.

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
