Overview

John is a fully accredited member of the Professional Fishing Instructors and Guides Association of Australia. In this half day casting course you'll learn how to cast a fly rod. Throughout the afternoon, he'll teach you the basics of casting, as well as the overhead cast, how to "shoot a line," and the roll cast. We will also cover the safety aspects of casting.

Other skills that you will be taught include line handling, and tips on knots.

We guarantee it's fun and definitely not difficult! You will be surprised how easy it can be if you learn the correct way.

All equipment is supplied for a great afternoon! You also receive a full set of course notes. John has taught hundreds of people the art of casting a fly rod.

We meet at Seaforth Bowling Club, Kirkwood Street. North Seaforth. NSW. Full details will be emailed once booking is received

Numbers

Please note that we require a minimum of 2 people for this course to take place, maximum number is 6 people.

Session Time

The course is 3 hours, (outdoors) from 1pm to 4pm.

Guidelines & Restrictions

Please bring a broad brimmed hat, sunscreen and wet gear if necessary. Participants should be in reasonable health. Children must be 13 years and over and accompanied by an adult at all times.
