Overview

Shiatsu is based on traditional Chinese medicine and works along the meridians (energy pathways) of the body. Using supportive pressure applied on specific acu-pressure points, this massage works to re-balance your energy. You will leave with a feeling of deep relaxation and renewed vitality.

Shiatsu is a unique, non-invasive therapy designed to stimulate the body's inherent ability to heal itself. Literally translated, the Japanese word shiatsu means "finger pressure."

After treatment, most people experience relief from their discomforts including relief from pain, increased flexibility, calmer mood as well as a clearer mind. Many people find that deep, restful sleep comes more easily for several nights.

A small percentage of people may feel tired or headachy for a few hours, or may temporarily experience minor localized muscle stiffness. This is a normal reaction to the treatment as the body readjusts and re-balances and will pass within 1 to 3 days.

Session Time

This is a one hour treatment. You will need to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Guidelines & Restrictions

Shiatsu massages are conducted fully clothed. Please advise us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies or very sensitive skin. This treatment is only available to those aged 16 years and above.

Booking Insurance

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
