Overview
Spend a full day exploring Cradle Mountain, Tasmania's favourite dramatic mountain peak and the focal point in this World Heritage listed area.
Immerse yourself fully in the home of Tasmania's (and Australia's) best bushwalking trails.
Departing from Launceston to Cradle Mountain via a short stop at Sheffield, we arrive at Cradle Mountain and allow you the maximum amount of time to enjoy this magic national park. Select one of numerous short walks in the area. Options including a guided stroll around Dove Lake (around 2 hours) or a more challenging walk up to Marion's Lookout (3-4 hours).
Cradle Mountain is stunning in all types of weather, so take your camera, a raincoat, comfortable walking shoes, and your lunch to really get the most out of your time there.
After an energetic day at your own leisure, we'll head back to Launceston, departing at around 3pm.

This tour departs from and returns to Launceston. We provide a courtesy pick-up service from selected Launceston city hotels.

Session Time
This is a full day tour departing at 7:30am and returning at approximately 6:00pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
There are different walking tracks, to cater for different fitness levels. The price includes a full day guided tour, all National Park Fees and tea and coffee throughout the day.
Your time spent at Cradle Mountain is at your own leisure, you may choose to stay with the walk on a walk around Dove Lake, or enjoy free time to try one of the many other walks in the region. Please wear suitable warm clothing and bring a rain jacket.
Extra Info
This tour does not include lunch, and has approximately 4 hours of free time to undertake hiking on one of the many trails guided or unguided (own risk). Customers MUST wear comfortable warm clothing and shoes. Children 8 - 15 years travel at concession prices.
