Overview
DAY 1 CAIRNS - HORN ISLAND (LD)
Flight Cairns to Horn Island. This day includes a tour of Horn Island and entry to the WW II Museum.Accommodation at Gateway Resort - ensuite facilities.
DAY 2 THURSDAY ISLAND - BAMAGA(BD)
On arrival at Thursday Island, you will be taken on a guided bus tour of the island. Late afternoon ferry transfer to the mainland.
DAY 3 CAPE YORK (BLD)
Stand at the very top of mainland Australia. We then visit Somerset (road conditions permitted)
DAY 4 FRUITBAT FALLS - BRAMWELL (BLD)
Southward bound, cross the Jardine River, stopping at Fruit Bat Falls for lunch and a swim. Accommodation at Bramwell Station - share facilities.
DAY 5 WEIPA (BLD)
Cross the Wenlock River, before arriving in Weipa. Accommodation at Heritage Resort - ensuite facilities.
DAY 6 LOTUS BIRD LODGE (BLD)
We continue south, stopping at Archer River.The afternoon finds us arriving at our accommodation, Lotus Bird Lodge, set amongst shady eucalypts along the inner bank of a large horseshoe shaped billabong. (ensuite facilities)
DAY 7 LAKEFIELD - COOKTOWN (BLD)
We head east towards Princess Charlotte Bay and Lakefield National Park, before arriving in Cooktown. Accommodation at Sovereign Resort - ensuite facilities.
DAY 8 CAPE TRIBULATION (BLD)
We make our way south passing the mysterious Black Mountain and the historic Lions Den Hotel. Traversing the Bloomfield Track to Cape Tribulation. we will enjoy a rainforest walk. Our accommodation tonight is at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge - ensuite facilities.
DAY 9 CAIRNS (BL)
After a leisurely morning, we spend time exploring the wonders of Cape Tribulation, before crossing the Daintree River to begin the last leg of our journey home. Travelling south along the Marlin Coast, we stop off at Hartleys Crocodile Adventures. We arrive back in Cairns in the late afternoon and return you to your accommodation.

Guidelines & Restrictions
Our tours are suitable for all ages. Please be aware that the tours are not recommended fopr children under the age of 6. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
