Upon arrival at the VIP lounge at the private heliport within Essendon Airport, (only 15 mins drive from central Melbourne) enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine as your pilot briefs you on the flight ahead. Enjoy the exciting ambiance of the private jets and helicopters that call this private facility home. After take off experience a thrilling Melbourne city scenic flight including flying past Eureka Tower, The MCG and many other famous landmarks en route to your VIP landing in front of your choice of destination winery including, Dominique Portet winery, Chateau Yering, De Bortoli winery and Yering Station. Then treat yourself on the ground to wine tastings, winery tours and the fine local produce available in the region. You can spend between 2 - 5 hours on the ground in the Valley before your helicopter returns you back to the heliport at Essendon Airport, Melbourne. This is a market leading price and does not include meals or beverages on the ground in the Yarra Valley. However we will provide recommendations for guides, tours and local restaurants on the ground available upon booking your flight.
For safe operations you must provide your Individual weights to the helicopter operator. Weights will also be checked prior to flight. If you book and you do not adhere to the guidelines below, the helicopter operator may not be able to take you flying. This is a federal aviation law requirement. If you are having trouble fitting into the guidelines and you are booking for multiple passengers you may want to look at the combined weight guidelines below.This may allow you to fly.
Passenger Weight Guidelines:
1-3 pax booking approved up to combined 300kg, individual weights must not exceed 136kg per person due to safety regs.
You will be required to contact the supplier directly after booking to advise them of your weight.

Session Time
You can spend between 2 and 5 hours on the ground in the Yarra Valley before your return flight departs. The flight times are approximately 30 mins outbound to the Valley incl city scenic and 20 mins direct return flight.
Guidelines & Restrictions
The helicopter that services this flight is a Robinson 44 that seats 3 passengers plus pilot. Total passenger weight must not exceed 300kg including any hand luggage. Any individual weighst must not exceed 136kg.
Ground activities and bookings for ground activities are the passengers responsibility. A detailed guide will be provided to all passengers prior to their flight. Which will include recommendations.
Extra Info
This is a same day return flight, available Daylight hours only. After booking you will be sent an information sheet detailing what is available for on the ground activities. At different times in the Valley there are special events, of which you will be informed. It's up to you to do the ground bookings, that's why we can provide these flights at this market leading price.
