BBQ Cooking Course (3 lessons) - Sydney

Sydney

Overview

Get the 'WOW factor' the next time you cook for friends and family on the BBQ! This BBQ cooking course includes 3 lessons which will guide you from the basics to the more advanced.

At each lesson, you will be offered a light beer, wine or mineral water on arrival, and then given a short safety brief and orientation. Your chef will demonstrate the meals to be cooked, and will answer any questions you might have prior to your hands-on cooking component. You will then prepare the meal under the guidance of your chef.

When all the meal is ready, we sit down as a group and enjoy!

Each of the 3 lessons takes place on a different day and you can expect to cook the following at each cooking class:

*Lesson 1 - How To Get The Most Out Of Your BBQ - Tips on BBQ Set up, Safety, and Maintenance so your BBQ lasts as long as you do!

On The Menu:

* Salmon Skewers With Snow Peas and Baby Corn

* Chicken Skewer With Preserved Lemon

* Thai Beef Salad

*Lesson 2 - Out Of The Kitchen, And Into The Fire - We take a close look at a range of BBQ accessories, and chef's tips to get professional results quickly!

On The Menu:

* BBQ Prawns

* Grilled Lamb Cutlets With Rocket And Basil Salad

* Grilled Vegetables With Eggplant Dipping Sauce

*Lesson 3 - BBQ Dinner Party - Get the WOW! Factor the next time you cook for friends and family!

On The Menu:

* Salted Squid Hoods With Glass Noodles and Coriander

* Chicken (Portuguese Style) With Crispy Potatoes and Coleslaw

* Beef Skewers

* Drunken Strawberries Flambe With Vanilla Cream

After completing the course, you will have practical experience in food preparation, cooking and presentation. You will have the skills necessary to provide good food, inexpensively, with a minimum of effort. In our classes we assume no knowledge, but have found that the more a student knows about BBQ cooking, the more they learn from our experienced chef presenters.
