This cooking class is a self-contained introduction to everything you want to know about cooking pasta!
Pasta is one of the staples of our diet. There are heaps of different recipes that you can cook with pasta so it should never be boring! Pasta is a quick and easy food to prepare and is very satisfying to eat. Come and learn more about cooking with pasta!
When you arrive for your cooking class you will be offered a light beer, wine or Fiji water. You'll then be given a short orientation and safety brief. Your talented pasta chef then demonstrates the courses that you will be cooking and answers any questions that you have. You'll then break into pairs and prepare your meal under the guidance of the chef. On the menu:
* Handmade Linguini with Sauteed Cauliflower, Chilli, Kalamatta Olives and Parsley
* Ravioli filled with Roast Pumpkin, Persian Fetta, Garlic and Lemon Thyme, with a Sage Burnt Butter Sauce
* Tomato, Basil and Baby Bocconcini Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
As well as cooking loads of delicious recipes, you'll learn the theory behind pasta and get some great cooking tips. Ever wondered what the difference between dried and fresh pasta is? You'll learn all about it during this pasta cooking class. You'll even learn how easy it is to make pasta from scratch!
When you've finished cooking you'll sit down with your new friends and eat the yummy food you've created. During dinner you'll match wines with the food you've cooked and discuss your culinary experience.
Sydney (Sydney - New South Wales)
This class takes place in Glebe located near Sydney's CBD.

We operate with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 16 people in each class. In the rare situation that the minimum number isn't reached you will be given at least 3 days notice with the chance to reschedule for a later date or offered the opportunity to participate in one of our other great classes.
The lesson is 3 hours in duration, commencing at 11:30am. This experience operates on Saturdays throughout the year.
Participants should be 18 years or older, unless under direct parental supervision. Aprons are provided to protect clothing. Closed shoes must be worn, preferably with solid soles and good grip. Everything is provided, so you do not need to bring anything to the class, except a healthy appetite!
