Overview
Departing from Sydney in the afternoon, we'll hit the road for any easy drive (approximately 2.5 hours) to arrive at our accommodation, where we will stay for the next 2 nights, so sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
On Day 1 - experience a shark and ray feeding frenzy, where we get to learn about and hand-feed a variety of sharks and rays at the new aquatic centre. We even get a chance to swim/snorkel or use waterproof waders to enter the tank with them in complete safety, if you dare! Then, enjoy a dolphin watching cruise on our boat where you'll be up close and personal with these amazing mammals. Once we find them, swim in the boom net and ride the waves. A licensed bar is onboard.
To top the day off, be transported by our 4 wheel drive bus out into the "Sahara Desert by the sea" and then sand surfing down the largest coastal sand dunes in the southern hemisphere. Wow, what a day!
At the end of the day, we'll head back to our accommodation for a pizza feast and spending the evening at our own leisure.
On Day 2 it will be time to explore the famous wine region, the Hunter Valley. Throughout the day, sample the local wines, cheeses and the region's finest chocolate. A stop in the afternoon at Hunter Resort, home of the Blue Tongue Brewery, or Potters Tavern, home of Hunter Beer gives us the opportunity to sample their beers, if you wish. We finish off the day with some specialty liqueurs such as" Love in a Bottle" and "Dragons Breath". After all of this adventure and indulgence, it will be time to return back to Sydney. Just see if you can stay awake!
This package includes:
* Meals - 2 breakfasts, and Pizza dinner. (lunches at own expense)
* Accommodation - dormitory-style bunk share (5-10 people per room). Upgrades are available and are subject to availability. Extra cost is payable to your tour guide on arrival.
* All activities listed (shark feeding is included but snorkel is $15 extra - beer tasting at own expense).
* Transport for the 2 days.

This safari departs from and returns to Sydney. Over the 2 days we visit Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley . Accommodation is in Newcastle, Anna Bay, Salamander Bay or Hunter Valley.

Numbers
We require a minimum of 2 people for this tour to take place. We operate with a maximum of 30 people on any tour. .
Session Time
This safari is for 2 days and 2 nights. We depart from Sydney at 6.30pm Fridays and Mondays, June through October. 7.30pm on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays, November through May. We return to Sydney in the evening after 2 days.
Guidelines & Restrictions
A small amount of physical exertion is required (eg sand surfing requires walking up a 30m sand dune) however participation is optional for all activities. You must be 18 years old and over for wine tasting (ID will be required). Any age can feed sharks but must be 8 years old to wade/snorkel/swim.

Lunches are not included but we have plenty of time built in to enjoy. We stop near cafe's which we recommend for you to buy or you can bring your own! Rooms will be bunk style, for private rooms additional surcharge of approx $20 per person applies subject to availability. Child = 15 yrs and under. Student/ Backpacker prices available, but cards must be shown. Family packages available: 2 adults, 2 children.
Booking Insurance
