Overview
HIGHLIGHTS:
Travel through Verdun and the undulating green Adelaide Hills towards the mill town of Bridgewater and through the arid pasture region of the Murraylands.
Stop at Mannum - birthplace of the River Murray Paddle steamers and cruise the wide waters of the Murray on a riverboat. Enjoy a delightful morning tea of scones, jam and cream with tea or coffee on board. See stark cliffs and River Red Gums and Willows that burden the waters of the Mighty Murray. Look for galahs, cockatoos and pelicans.
Enjoy lunch at Mannum and sample local hospitality and take an opportunity to board the fully restored 100 year old PS Marion Paddlesteamer. Take in the view over Mannum and the Murray from a scenic lookout. On the return to Adelaide follow the Onkaparinga Valley to Gumeracha and see the Torrens Valley olive groves and grape growing . Skirt the Chain of Ponds Reservoir and travel through Tea Tree Gully.

This tour departs from Adelaide and travels east to the Murray River at Mannum, returning to Adelaide in the late afternoon.
