Overview
On arrival you will sign on and be kitted up in your race attire, then you will be directed to the briefing room for an in depth drivers / safety briefing. You will be introduced to your professional race car driver / instructor, who will take you out to the circuit for sighting laps in a road car. Sighting laps are common with all race car drivers, these laps allow you to understand driving lines and braking points. Once these laps are completed, you will be taken to pit lane and the real fun begins! The crew will fit your helmet and belt you into the drivers seat of a race prepared V8 Super Drive Race Car, you will be in constant radio contact with your pro driver / instructor who will coach you through a drive session you will never forget, fast and precise laps around the race circuit just like a real pro, you will be amazed at the speed and the performance of the Super drive race car.
DVD Sales - all the cars have 3 cameras in them and are recording your Driving / Hot Laps on the day. This footage is professionally produced and packaged for you to purchase. DVD can be ordered on the day:
* DVD of Drive - $79.
* There is also a photo of you and a Race car available for $25
Tea and coffee is provided, food and drink's are available from the venues outlet which operates throughout the day.
Location
Melbourne (Melbourne - Victoria)
Calder Park is situated half an hour North West of the City, on the Calder freeway just past Keilor. You can't miss the large motor sport complex on your right.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
There are several sessions throughout the day; each session will run for aprox 2.5 hours. Your experience will be within a group of 4 to 5 people enjoying a one on one with one of our professional race car driver/instructors.
Session Time
Please arrive at the confirmed arrival time on your confirmation. Allow approx 3 hours at the race track.
Guidelines & Restrictions
No Licence is required but you must be over 18 and capable of driving a manual car. There will be zero tolerance on alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse any person deemed to be or found to be acting in an unsafe manor.
Family and friends are all very welcome to come along and share your experience with you. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue. Tea, coffee, food and cold drinks are all available.
Extra Info
You are required to sign an indemnity prior to your drive. Weight and height restrictions may apply. The largest suit is a XXXL. Wear comfortable clothing and covered in shoes. In the case of bad weather, we may need to reschedule to a later date.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
