Overview
Come with us for a day of fun and excitement you won't forget. Just an hour south of Cairns, we have created a rafting adventurers dream on the Russell River.
There is nothing else like this in Australia. It is affordable, nail biting and exhilarating! With rapids ranging from grade 1 to 4, there is something for everyone on this river.
Your extreme rafting experience starts with a trek through the dense rainforest of the Russell River valley, carrying inflatable 2 man sports kayaks with you (the lightweight kayaks are deflated and the packs are share carried to the launch point)
Along the way, you will learn about the rainforest, see crystal clear rivers, marvel at breathtaking scenery and of course experience the exciting rapids of the wild Russell River.
After 3 hours of exhilarating white water rafting its time to relax around a delicious barbecue lunch.
Your full day adventure also includes:

Please note a rafting levy of $25 per person is to be paid on the day.

We can collect you from your Port Douglas accommodation.

Session Time
Pickup 8:00am, return 6:30pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Minimum age 13. Remember to bring swimming costume under your clothes, large towel, sunscreen, change of clothes and lace-up shoes that will get wet. For safety reasons, no jewellery is to be worn. Depending on water levels, rapids are generally grade 3-4.
Some medical conditions may exclude participants from rafting for safety reason. Please disclose any medical conditions at time of booking. A Liability Release Form will need to be signed on the day of rafting. Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.

Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
