Overview
Your experience begins at the Historic Rose Bay seaplane base where you will board one of our de Havilland 'Beaver' 6 seat seaplanes and take off for a spectacular view of Sydney city and our beautiful coastline. On the way spot the whales as they pass Sydney heads then do a circuit of the city past the world famous Opera house and harbour bridge.
When you land back in Rose Bay take a breath before you board our purpose built 400hp RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) to blast outside the harbour heads at speeds of up to 90kph in perfect comfort and safety for 1.5hrs of up-close and
personal time with the mighty migrating whales.
Supported by your aerial sightings, and using our high speed we find the whales again quickly and spend the maximum amount of time with them so you don't suffer from seasickness or boredom! We can often visit multiple pods in one trip and see a huge amount of the coastline and beaches of Sydney, such as the world famous Bondi beach and beautiful Manly from sea level.

There can be up to 6 passengers on the flight and up to 12 passengers on the boat.
Session Time
The seaplane flight is 15 minutes in duration and the adventure boat ride is about 1.5 hours long.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Participants must be medically fit to ride, no spine or neck injuries or pregnant women. Children just need to be over 10 years old/ 145cm tall for the adventure ride.
Wear casual warm clothing. Spray jackets and pants are supplied for the boat. Dress for conditions on the day. Temperature on the water can be 5 degrees cooler than the land. Bring a woolie hat to put on if you get cold. Covered shoes are necessary for the boat.
Extra Info
Tours run with a minimum of 4 people. All passengers must be medically fit to ride the boat and sign an indemnity form. Children (8 to 14yrs) must be at least 145cm tall to ride. Children aged under 10yrs by prior arrangement only. Children aged under 12 yrs must ride with a parent or guardian. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
