Overview
Your experience begins with a sign-on and safety briefing with our qualified driving instructors. They will take you around the circuit to each corner, showing you the correct lines and braking points you will need to know in order to get you around the circuit quickly and safely!
Then you're free to lap the circuit and go as fast as you like! This is the moment that you have always dreamed about. How fast will your car go? 120km or 320km - it's all up to you and your car.
We will give you 20 minutes of free lapping time per hour for the duration of your experience. We also provide qualified high performance driving coaches who will be at your disposal throughout the day. You can have as much or as little instruction as you like. There are also qualified crew members on standby as well as flag marshals around the circuit.
Take your car for a spin on one of the most exciting racing circuits in Australia!
Lunch, tea/coffee and soft drinks are provided.
Location
Melbourne (Melbourne - Victoria)
This experience takes place in Sandown Raceway, Victoria - approximately 30 minutes south-east of the Melbourne CBD.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
The price quoted is for one person. There will be up to 30 other people in the group on the day and up to 10 people driving on the raceway at any one time.
Session Time
Driving days occur approximately every six weeks throughout the year. Your driving day starts at 8.30am and concludes at 4pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
You must have your own car and a valid driver's license to participate in this experience. P plate drivers are eligible. We recommend having your car inspected by a qualified mechanic prior your driving experience. You will need to sign an indemnity on the day, prior to participating.
You will need to wear clothing that fully covers you from your neck to your wrists to your ankles, and closed-in shoes. You will need to bring your own helmet. Alternatively, helmets can be hired on the day for a small fee of $10.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
