Long Island is a superb destination for a day visit as you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and great facilities of the resort, head off to explore the islands walking tracks or a mix of both.
Relax on the beach, claim a hammock or take a dip in the pool. Enjoy a cocktail or cold beer at the poolside bar before that superb buffet lunch.
Long Island Resort also boasts a superb spa facility and has a comprehensive range of water sports - parasailing, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, glass bottom water bikes, water skiing and fishing trips (available at extra cost)
Experience the magic of nature and the Australian bush on the 20kms of varied length scenic walking tracks in the National Park - suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy hill top views, bush wildlife and palm fringed beaches. Or you can take to the water and explore the coral reef only 150 metres off shore.

Depart the mainland at 8:30am (check in 30 minutes prior to departure) for a day at Long Island, then return in the afternoon departing Long Island at 3:55pm for Shute harbour or 4:45pm for Abel Point Marina (7.5-8.75 hours)

Non - secure parking is available at Abel Point Marina adjacent to our departure point. Secure parking for guests departing from Abel Point Marina is available at Shute Harbour Parking & Storage. For self drive guests travelling out to Shute Harbour the car parking at Shute Harbour is paid pay stations by $10.00 per day. There is also secure undercover car parking at Shute Harbour Parking & Storage (situated 300m from main shute harbour entrance) rates are $22.00 per day.
