Come & experience the beauty of handmade paper through our captivating, hands-on papermaking

tours. Set in an original 1930's paper mill, you'll discover how we make paper from denim jeans as well as our famous Roo Poo Paper, you'll even get to have a go yourself! Gift shop & gallery is

stacked with great handmade paper, kits & interesting Tasmanian finds!

Numbers

We take up to 25 participants in each tour.

Session Time

Tours take between 35 and 45 minutes which includes the papermaking workshop. We begin with a little history & interpretation then show you how we do it, then take you through the mill & finish at the workshop where you'll get the chance to roll up your sleeves & try it for yourself! You'll be able to take your piece with you as a great reminder of your new skill!

Guidelines & Restrictions

Kids under 8 years may need parental assistance, but experience tells us that they have a great time! There are no other restrictions.
