Secrets of Eyre Peninsula 6 Day Wildlife Adventure

Eyre Peninsula

Overview

Day 1: Our adventure begins north from Adelaide as we venture into the Southern Flinders Ranges. The tour jumps on board the Pichi Richi Camel Trek which is followed by a Bush Tucker lunch in this pristine environment.

At the end of the first day we climb Mount Wudinna for a magical sunset. That night we experience our first bush camp.

Day 2: We board the MV Investigator for a 4-5 hr cruise (own cost at $120 Inc GST). It's a relaxing day viewing and swimming with dolphins and Australian sea lions. We then visit the famous Murphy's Haystacks. Over night at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat. Our hosts Hassie, Jo and family take us on an unique nocturnal spotlighting tour looking for Australia's National Emblems - Kangaroos, Wombats and Emus.

Day 3: This day you have many options! You can relax on a private beach, make some beautiful bush or coastal walks or spend the day with Hassie exploring the region and around Coodlie Park.

Day 4: In the morning we visit Colton Bakery before heading off the Elliston's Great Ocean Tourist Drive and travel to Locks Well. After lunch we will swim and hand feed tuna before stopping at Mikkara station and its abundant Koala population.

Day 5: Today is an extreme day of fun! Those who dare come face to face with the Great White Shark on a day tour [optional experience $385] Those not wishing to be quite so extreme have the opportunity to learn to surf. This is followed by a visit to Glen Forest Wildlife Park. Once the shark crew arrive back we head to Cowell for a great overnight Aussie pub experience.

Day 6: Travel on to Adelaide through the eastern side of the Flinders Ranges and Horrick's Pass before enjoying our last bush walk at Alligator Gorge. On the way back to Adelaide you have time to reflect on the experiences over the last six action packed days!
