DAY 1: Our adventure begins as we travel east over the Darling Ranges. Our lunch stop will be at Wave Rock. Our camp is near the coast of the Fitzgerald River Nat Park.
DAY 2: We drive along the coast arriving in Esperance. A short drive brings us to the Cape Le Grand National Park where we camp only ms from a picture postcard beach. Late afternoon we hike up the granite formation known as Frenchman Peak.
DAY 3: It's up to you how you would like to spend the morning. You may like to do one of the coastal walks or go for a swim, boogie board, snorkel, fish or just relax.
DAY 4: Today will give you a sense of the size of this vast and ancient land. We travel through some diverse Australian country and stop for the night at Eucla, an telegraph town buried by sand dunes.
DAY 5: We see the majestic Nullarbor cliffs and stop at the famous wombat/camel/kangaroo road sign.
DAY 6: We head further east into South Australia. After a stop at Ceduna Aboriginal Center, we drive on to Streaky Bay. Then we board the MV Investigator for a cruise (optional $120). It's a relaxing day on the boat, viewing and swimming with dolphins and sea lions. We stay at Coodlie Park where we go on a spotlighting tour!
DAY 7: Learn to surf during summer. Visit Colton Bakery before heading off the Elliston's Great Ocean Tourist Drive. Travel to Locks Well, then through an old settlement called Nowhere Else.
DAY 8: Today is an extreme day of fun! Those who dare to come face to face with the Great White Shark [OE $385]. Those not wishing to be quite so extreme have the opportunity to swim with Tuna! This is followed by a visit to Glen Forest Wildlife Park. After all this we head to Cowell for a great overnight aussie pub experience.
DAY 9: We pass Cowell, Whyalla and Pt Augusta and enjoy our last bush walk at Alligator Gorge. We travel through the picturesque Clare Valley which gives you the chance to reflect on the experiences over the last action packed days as we head for Adelaide.
