The World Heritage Daintree Rainforest is a pocket of ancient tropical rainforest locked in a biological time capsule on the driest continent on earth. Our skilled guides are experts on the unique flora and wildlife of the Daintree's wet tropic coastal lowlands and the mysteries of its evolution and survival over millions of years.
Join us for a well-organised day, planned from the knowledge we have gained over 21 years of operating guided tours into the Daintree Rainforest.
This tour includes:
- Daintree River crossing by cable ferry
- Alexandra Lookout, panoramic coastal views.
- Wildlife River Cruise, in the heart of the Daintree on the only boat permitted to operate on the sensitive Cooper Inlet, haunt of the saltwater crocodile.
- Walk in the Rainforest, with our expert guides on easy informative treks beneath the forest canopy, includes Marrdja Boardwalk.
- Cape Tribulation, stroll on the rainforest fringed beach and to the lookout on the Cape for superb views over the Coral Sea.
- Canoe the secluded waters of the Blue Lagoon. See exotic butterflies, turtles and colourful Kingfishers (optional at no extra cost).
- Swim in the crystal waters of a secluded natural rainforest waterhole.

This tour departs from Cairns, Port Douglas, Trinity Beach and Palm Cove and travels to the Daintree Rainforest.

Session Time
This is a full day tour. Departure times are as follows: Port Douglas 8.45am - 5.30pm Cairns 7.00am - 6.45pm Trinity Beach - Palm Cove 7.30am - 6.00pm
Guidelines & Restrictions
Tour includes a 2 course BBQ for lunch (with fresh tropical fruits in season). We carry plenty of iced water on board and supply umbrellas during wet weather. Remember to bring your swimmers, camera and a jumper in case it gets cool.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.

"The Daintree tour was a great way to see the Daintree Rainforest and attractions located around the Daintree. Departing from Cairns, we got to see many things on the tour including the Rainforest, Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, Daintree River, etc... Lunch was included so that was great! The boat ride to see crocodiles in their natural environment was great! The tour guide/bus driver was very helpful. He told us many things about the area we were seeing and had great knowledge of the area. He was helpful, willing to answer questions, and entertaining.
