Horse Riding World Heritage Rainforest Tour

Cairns and Tropical North Queensland

Overview

Our two hour trail can involve riding through the Australian bush Savannah, or exploring the spectacular rainforest and enjoying the views from high mountain tops or the 500m magnificent Mowbray Falls. The trek is tailor made to suit your family or group. Our horses are specifically trained to suit all levels of riders - from absolute beginners to advanced.

Your hosts have a lifetime of horse experience, with the added bonus of being conservationists with an in depth knowledge of the area you will be riding in. We give you a free horse riding lesson prior to, and during your ride to enhance your comfort and experience. We are on the border of the wet and dry tropics therefore there is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, prolific birdlife, brumbies, wild cattle and feral pigs.

You will also see a selection of animals on our 200 acre, working farm such as cattle, chickens and working dogs. Our local area boasts the second highest population of bird species in the world and you can meet our native pet rainforest free flying parrots - who may even join us on the horse ride!

We take digital photographs of you during your ride and can email them to you on request. We are members of the Association for Horsemanship Safety and Education in Australia and provide certified Australian standard safety helmets for your protection.

Large group bookings of up to 18 people can be organised upon request.
