Your helicopter experience begins with an introduction to your pilot and a briefing on helicopter safety (use of headsets and seatbelts). Take photos of your group in front of the helicopter before departing for your 30 minute flight, so remember film for the camera and charge those batteries.
The flight can be tailored to suit your needs. If you wish to change the flight or extend your flight please ask upon booking to confirm price.
Your pilot will point out sights as you approach, feel free to speak with the pilot and ask questions using the intercom.
OPTION 1 - 30 minute flight:
Your flight departs our base in the Hoffnungsthal Valley flying over the Seppeltsfield Winery and surrounding vineyards, onto Nuriootpa, then over Angaston known for its Lime Marble Quarries and Lindsay Park Horse Stud. Fly back over the valley floor past Tanunda to behold the historic buildings and churches from yesteryear before flying onto the famous Whispering Wall and back to Hoffnungsthal Valley.
OPTION 2 - 30 minute flight:
This flight departs from Hoffnungsthal Valley and heads south to the Barossa and South Para Reservoirs, then north along the ridge top of the Barossa Ranges incorporating the Mount Crawford State Pine Forest until reaching the world renown Jacobs Creek. We then proceed down to the top of the Ranges following the winding course, absorb the splendor and beauty of the Barossa from North to South and surrounding areas before reaching the creeks termination point at the North Para River, then returning to home base at the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
Lyndoch (Barossa Valley - South Australia)
This activity departs from Lyndoch, 1 hour drive north of Adelaide.

The only items to be taken on helicopters are video and still cameras. Dress casual to suit the weather. Footwear: lawned area is not suitable for high heels and no thongs please.
The flight lasts for 30 minutes. All flights operate 7 days a week, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, during daylight hours and only subject to helicopter availability and favourable weather conditions. Allow one hour for your experience and arrive 15 minutes early for briefing and photos.
Each flight is restricted to an all up passenger weight of 440 kg, an average of 110 kg per passenger. There is no age limit. Special needs can be catered for (wheelchair access).
