Overview
This course results in a nationally and internationally recognised TAFE qualification. It is a 5-hour barista experience that starts from the basics and culminates in two hours of non-stop coffee-making focusing on milk texturing and coffee art.
We were the first people in the world to conduct coffee art courses so you will learn all the cutting-edge tricks using etching and freepouring techniques. Master Barista encapsulates our Barista Basics course plus an intense 2-hour coffee art experience that involves looking at etching, fudge art and free-pouring. We have developed this course in conjunction with representatives from the coffee industry, the TAFE system and with the Australian Government's Nationally Recognised Training system.
This course is designed for the following people* people who want the TAFE certificate to help them find employment * people who love coffee and want to master all aspects of it * people who need more help texturing milk * people who want the most professional and comprehensive barista experience in Australia today.
Melbourne session times are as follows: *Fri 9am-3pm *Sat 12.30pm-6pm.
Upon completion of this course participants will get a TAFE Certificate, a TAFE Academic Transcript, TAFE Record of Successful Study and TAFE Statement of Attainment, a Coffee Art and Presentation Techniques Certificate, an Effective Milk Texturing Movie, a Free-Pouring Basics Movie, Audio Podcasts of our internationally acclaimed Grinder Adjustment series and an Etching Sheet plus everything that you get with Barista Basics, ie: a certificate bearing the qualifications SITHFAB012A Prepare and Serve Espresso and SITXOHS002A Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures, a Barista Basics certificate, a movie entitled How to Make Every Coffee on a Coffee Menu, a written coffee menu, an Ebook: How to Get a Job as a Barista as well as access to our job websites and ongoing education websites.

This course takes place in Melbourne's CBD.

Numbers
Melbourne can take up to 7 people per class. If there are more then 5 people we have an additional instructor.
Session Time
This is a 5 hours course with 30 minutes break during the day.
Guidelines & Restrictions
We provide all necessary equipment for your class.
Extra Info
Numbers are dependant on the venue. In Sydney, we can take up to 17 people in a class. Brisbane and Melbourne can take up to 10 people per class.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
