Overview
Your hot air ballooning experience takes off at sunrise 45 minutes from Sydney's CBD with Australia's most exciting ballooning company. Float with the breeze over the picturesque landscape and view the valleys, hills and mountains from a totally different perspective.
Look out one side of the basket and the Blue Mountains are at your feet, look out the other side, the Sydney skyline and ocean glisten in the distance. Look below and be amazed that such green rolling fields are in such close proximity to the city.
You will be welcomed by your pilot and friendly crew 1 hour before sunrise at the Camden Valley Inn, 290 Remembrance Drive (Old Hume Highway), Camden Park, NSW 2570.
After a flight briefing, passengers are then transported to the pilot's chosen launch site depending on the wind conditions. Here you can either help with the inflation of the balloon, or you are welcome to stand back and take photographs.
Once the balloon is inflated you climb into the basket for a briefing with your experienced pilot. As the new day breaks you ascend into the sky. Relax and enjoy the sensation of floating as one with the wind. As the balloon drifts serenely you can take pictures of the beautiful surrounding area or just enjoy the excitement, peace and tranquility of your balloon ride.
After approximately 1 hour you will be greeted by your crew as you land softly back down to earth. The romance of the morning continues as you feast on a sumptuous champagne breakfast and celebrate the most exhilarating morning of your life!

Numbers
We generally require a minimum of 2 people for weekend flights and 6 people for weekday flights. We can operate up to 50 people depending on location and availability.
Session Time
We suggest you allow approximately 4 hours in total from check-in to champagne celebration for this experience. The flight itself is 1 hour.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for the hour's flight. We need to be informed of medical conditions that may preclude them from flying e.g back problem. We do not fly ladies more than 12 weeks pregnant.
We recommend casual comfortable clothing (jeans, jumper and parka). Flat shoes (eg sneakers are ideal). No high heels & open toed shoes. We also suggest bringing a waterproof jacket for the experience.
Extra Info
We can cater for individuals, couples, families etc. Please note that we do require a minimum of 4 people booked on your chosen date to schedule a flight. Please also note that all balloon flights are weather depending. Children needs to be above 8 years of age (under 8 cannot participate) and those 13 and over are considered as adult ticketing. Pick up may be arranged at $50 per person to be payable on the day of the flight. 2 or more people must be booked in for pick up to be arranged.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
