Overview
We offer a truly unique experience as you gently float across the skies of our very own wine recluse, the Hunter Valley. Peaceful yet exhilarating, the flight lasts for approximately one hour but the memories will last a life time.
Take off at dawn and float with the breeze over the picturesque landscape of the Hunter Valley and view the majestic scenery from a totally different perspective.
The flight includes tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival; pre-flight briefing; transport from the flight meeting point to and from launch/landing sites; offer to participate with inflating and deflating of the balloons, if desired; chilled champagne and fruit juices served at a traditional ballooning celebration; a brief history lesson on ballooning; personalised commemorative flight certificate.

This flight takes place in Cessnock area of the Hunter Valley. This is approximately 2 hours from Sydney.

Session Time
Approximately 4 hours in total from check in to champagne celebration. The flight itself is 1 hour.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for 1 hour. We will need to be informed of anyone who has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying e.g a back problem. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.
Casual comfortable clothing. Shoes must be flat no high heels or open toed shoes permitted. Waterproof is preferable. In the case of windy, wet weather flights are cancelled at the pilot's discretion. Flights are confirmed the previous night.
Extra Info
We can cater for individuals, couples etc but please note that we do require a minimum of 4 people booked to schedule a flight. Please also note that all balloon flights are weather permitting. Any person under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardians written consent. Children aged between 7 and 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Child rates are available.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
