Overview
Heading out of Melbourne, we travel through the cities Eastern Suburbs, marvelling at the stately homes. View Western Port bay before a stop for afternoon tea.
Soon we arrive at Churchill Island. This historic settlement is where the first crops were introduced into Victoria. The sweeping views of the headland, green pastures and historic buildings make this a perfect place to have some home made afternoon tea.
Continuing on we head to the Nobbies. From this magnificent headland, the views stretch forever. There is spectacular coastal viewing from the boardwalks and lookout points set amongst natural sea bird gardens. One and half kilometres offshore from The Nobbies are Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest Australian Fur Seal colony.
Finally we get to the Penguin Parade. Each evening at dusk little penguins arrive onshore from their ocean feeding grounds. The large penguin colony enters the beach in groups, walking and talking loudly as they work their way into the dunes where their burrow nests are situated. The boardwalks enable you to gain close contact with the penguins in the dune area. We have access to the less popular boardwalks, so that you can enjoy this spectacle without any hustle and bustle.
Your evening finishes with a fish and chip dinner at the Jetty Restaurant in the township of Cowes at Phillip Island, returning to Melbourne late evening.

This tour departs from and returns to Melbourne and visits Phillip Island. We are able to offer hotel pick up and drop off from most CBD hotels.

Numbers
A minimum of 2 people is required to run the tour. Each tour will be run by highly qualified and knowledgeable guides.
Session Time
The tour lasts for approximately 9.5 hours, depending on the season. Pick up is 1:00pm (winter) or 2:00pm (summer) and return time is approximately 10:30pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Bookings need to be made at least 7 days prior the experience taking place. All travel for this tour takes place in a luxury air conditioned vehicle.
Please note that for a supplement we can now offer the Private Penguin Parade Experience. This allows you onto a secluded beach with the Penguins waddling past within touching distance.
