A most fascinating landscape is waiting to be captured with your camera, it varies from gibber plains, to sand dunes to bushy around waterholes. Expect to see a lot of Kangaroos and Emus maybe some Lizards and many species of birds.
Not only that but there will also be a lot of pioneering and settlement history waiting to be explored and lovely old building to be photographed.
Our resident photographer Mark will be by your side with tips and techniques to help you achieve sensational photos. Mark will also run 1-2 hours workshops/discussion groups around the camp fire, this represents a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills. Mark will set themes for various days and the results will be professionally evaluated.
The driving will be reasonably easy, however we will have to cover longer distances - up to 450kms on some days.

DAY 4 Coongie Lakes to Innamincka

Innamincka to the edge of the Simpson Desert via Walkers Crossing, Birdsville Track and Birdsville

Simpson to Betoota
DAY 7
Betoota to Welford National Park
DAY 8
Rest Day Welford NP
Day 9
Welford NP to Idalia National Park
Day 10
Idalia National Park to Blackall - finish
Travel in convoy in the comfort of your own or hired dual-range, high clearance 4wd vehicle, guided and assisted by our qualified and experienced guide, sleep under the stars, swim in waterholes and much more. This is a unique self-drive - self catered tour and clients must bring their own camping gear, for other items to bring pls refer to other information.

Guidelines & Restrictions
All drivers must have an unrestricted driver's licence, overseas clients must hold a current international licence.
Your vehicle should have:
* Vehicle Recovery Points Front & Back
* Snatch strap, 2 shackles, gloves
* UHF radio
* Off road tyres
* Basic Toolkit:
* Spare hoses and fanbelts
* Fire extinguisher
* Spare tyre
* Tarp
* Fridge

Price is quoted per 2 person per vehicle, Bookings close 4 weeks prior to departure. This tour is suitable for off-road trailers. We reserve the right to alter travel times and routes depending on weather conditions and road closures or any other circumstances. Not included in our tour costs are medical, personal, motor vehicle and travel insurances, nor are we responsible for any personal, vehicle repair and fuel expenses.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
