Overview
Your adventure starts at 8am when we will pick you up from your accommodation, ready for the whale watching cruise of a lifetime! You will be greeted by the friendly boat staff and welcomed on board for a 9am departure. The vessel then travels out to the ocean directly in front of Surfers Paradise in search of the humpbacked whales on their annual migration.
You will spend approximately 2 hours out on the ocean, but don't worry the twin hulled vessel ensures a calm ride and great viewing from the large decks. Morning tea is served on board and before you know it you are watching the delightful giants of the ocean frolic in the waters around you. Mornign tea is also served on board.
Commentary is given by qualified marine biologists. You will return to the docks around 11:30am for the return drop off to your accommodation.

This activity takes place on the Gold Coast. We are able to collect you from your nearby accommodation shoudl you chose this option.

We require a minimum of 2 passengers for this trip to operate.
Session Time
Please allow 4 hours for this tour. Cruise deparst at 9am from Marina Mirage jetty in Main Beach onteh Gold Coast. Should you chose the tour with transfers, hotel pick ups commence from 8am depending on where you are staying. Whale watching season is generally between June and October.
Guidelines & Restrictions
If you suffer from seasickness, please ensure you take preventative mediation at least 1 hour before boarding the boat. Sunglasses, a hat and sunblock are also recommended.
There will be days that we can't operate due to weather and other circumstances. If the cruise is cancelled for any reason you may rebook to another date, however there will be no refund of tour fees. There may be times when we do not see whales. We do not refund tour fees if we do not see whales.
Extra Info
Child rate applies to those aged 4-11 years old (inclusive). Should you suffer from motion sickness, we suggest that you take your preferred medication at least 1 hour before boarding the boat.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
