Your 2 hour adventure departs from stunning Coles Bay on the East Coast of Tasmania and gateway to the Freycinet Peninsula.
At the start of the tour, you will learn the basics of riding the quads, including safe ATV handling and riding technique.
From here your guide takes you for an unforgettable journey through the coastal forest along 4WD tracks to either of 2 stunning destinations.
Ride to south Friendly Beaches, pristine, white sandy beach that can only otherwise be accessed on foot or by 4WD or travel through boulder strewn valleys to Bluesone Bay and then on to admire the Coastal Cliffs surrounding Cape Tourville Lighthouse.
Our combination of one and 3 seater passenger vehicles allows everyone to join in.
Our vehicles have automatic transmission, are simple to operate and suitable for beginners and up.
All tours include an additional 1/2 hr training.
We place a strong emphasis on interpretive tours of the national park and pride ourselves on providing our clients with a full appreciation of this magnificent coastal environment with its rich cultural, historical and environmental heritage.

Tours operate year round, with 3 departures daily during Summer and 2 departures daily throughout winter.
This is a great all weather activity and on the rare chance it is raining, wet weather gear will be provided if required.
Coles Bay (Hobart - Tasmania)
Coles Bay is a comfortable 2 1/2 hour drive from Launceston (via the A1, Lake Leake Hwy and the A3) and 3 hours from Hobart.

All tours are fully guided with a maximum of 5 vehicles operating per tour. There is one guide per group. Participant numbers can be from 2 - 8 people, depending on passenger numbers.
The duration of the tour is 2.5 hours in total. The tour begins with a 30 minute safety talk and rider instruction, the remainder of the tour is pure riding experience, with a 10-15 minute morning / afternoon tea break at the destination.
There is no level of fitness required for the tours although it is expected that each participant is in sound physical condition (ie no broken bones, severe back problems etc). We ask participants to notify us of any allergies/medical conditions at the time of booking for client care on the tour.
* We require a minimum of 2 full paying adults to operate the tour (or 1 adult & 2 Children) * Minimum of a Provisional Drivers License is required to operate any of the vehicles. * Anyone without a license or not wishing to ride an ATV are able to travel in our Polaris Ranger passenger vehicles. * Minimum height is 90cm (or old enough to no longer need a booster seat while traveling in a vehicle)
